has just completed a comprehensive strategic plan entitled “Preparing for the 21st Century.”

The CdM strategic plan includes:

State-of-the-art technology that will support and enhance the education of all CdM students. If we raise adequate
funding, all tech investments can be in place for students next fall.

2) Development of interest-specific academies or small learning communities within CdM MS/HS.
These
schools within schools engage students by tapping into real-world subjects. Core curriculum, technology
and 21st century skills are imbedded in curriculum. The first academy, Performing Arts & Multimedia Academy (PAMA(9/07) to be followed by business, law, medicine & other academies.

Expanded and enhanced curriculum options to provide more classes, more rigor and classes that integrate 21st century
skills.

4) Focused staff development designed
to imbed technology and 21st century skills into the curriculum, integrate core courses into the academy programs,
and embrace research-proven project-based learning and interdisciplinary approaches to education.

5) A collaborative effort between administration, staff, parents, community, businesses
and local colleges to provide funding, mentoring, internships and higher learning opportunities.

cost for just the technology equipment is $370,000. With remodeling costs furnishings and infrastructure
enhancements the total bill will exceed $600,000. If we can raise funds NOW, we have the unique opportunity
